I write this from the airport. It’s hard to process that I’m not going to see most of you during the coming week. I can’t begin to say how much we are already missing you. I was going to put together a video for this post, but editing is harder than it looks. I’ll be sure to do it for my next post.
We managed to get most of our lives into three checked bags (an extra $100 well spent), a rolling carry on, a duffle bag, and two messenger bags. What we didn’t get to pack, were all of you. This has been an amazing time not only because we’re going to Spain (which still hasn’t sunk in yet), but because of how amazingly blessed we’ve been by many of you.
Thank you for coming to our farewell events.Thank you for the lunches and the dinners (especially those of you who made them for us). Thank you for helping with our moving sale (especially those of you who helped with the dryers and washer). Thank you for helping with donating everything that didn’t sell after (especially those of you who helped with the dryers and washer). Thank you for the talks. Thank you for sharing your stories with us. Thank you to two special friends who have shared their home with us for the last week.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers; you will remain in ours. We absolutely love you all.
